I have a 2013 maverick XRS non turbo and I want to get a little more out of it and I was thinking about having a turbo installed... Has anybody done this? And will this affect the reliability of my maverick??

Sure, but you'll need lower compression, to run much boost. Easiest way to do that, is to put turbo Maverick pistons in.
Install turbo, my turbo reflash, my injectors, and map sensor, and ride.

How much for all the parts because i'm trying to sell my 14 xrs for a turbo, but depending on the cost I might rethink my decision. How much rwhp does it produce. I'm in Utah at 2000-4500 ft in elevation.

Two companies that I have looked into, MCX-USA and Aerocharger. Both look like great kits!

We just recently installed the Aerocharger kit in our 2014, and its a great kit. You are limited to about 5 PSI with stock compression and pump fuel, but its a huge improvement, even at 5 PSI. 101 to 150+ crank HP, (at 5PSI) is huge.. and it makes all the good turbo/blow off noises to boot. (just a perk)

It is expensive, but its a complete kit. (3rd injector, fuel controller, intercooler, gauges, etc)

How owe reliable is the power? I'm currently at 230 hours so I want to be kind to the motor.

It's there every time you mash the gas pedal, same as stock.

How about I take a stab at answering the question I feel like you were asking.

Forced induction motors can last just as long as stock Clearly there is a limit to how much boost can be ran and be reliable. Most people will say 6 to 8 lbs and you can have virtually the same engine life as a stock motor.

I will give you an example. I have nitrous on my sand car, you know the nitrous that will "blow your motor up so don't run nitrous". I had the first build for 4.5 years before I had a head gasket seep slightly putting out steam when I first started it. That was running several thousand pounds of nitrous through it at 275 hp shot.

My point is forced induction is not really any harder assuming you keep the boost level modest. jmho. Tim

My MCX kit has auto altitude adjustment and auto adjusts AFR on the fly for where ever you are. $4500-5k for turbo plus $2k (high end) for clutching - I run the STM Rage 6 with Gen 2 secondary. Cheaper than trading in!

My car runs, and functions like factory - 230 hours really isnt all that much. Kit runs 11-12 psi and comes with CP 9.5:1 pistons and larger injectors, which safely allows you to run that boost pressure and provide sufficient fuel.

How does your mav run against the newer Turbos, RZR and Mav?

Most after market turbos are boosting 10 lbs and up and I believe a stock 2015 xds boost is 6 psi .
After market setups should out perform stock

You would think that's the case however I can't recall hearing anyone with an aftermarket turbo racing a stock RZR Turbo or stock Mav Turbo.

There are not that many after market ones out there because of the cost to buy them . Not every one is willing to drop 6 k on one mod . 7500 here in Canada . For a bloody turbo kit . I put a ATS 5000 kit on my one ton for 4000 . Price for a Utv turbo kit is stupid
